CR.RICARRDO's Waldemar Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jean Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, CR.RICARRDO's Luís Paulo Cearense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toninho Loureiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CR.RICARRDO reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Edmundo Lira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CR.RICARRDO's Rafinha Maia. Rafinha Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, BETIMFC's Geovanni Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Kléberson Fernandes in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CR.RICARRDO's Waldemar Marques. Rafinha Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toninho Loureiro having to make a save. Rafinha Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir de Medeiros in the 38th minute of play. The referee ignored BETIMFC's protests and gave Jean Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes BETIMFC got a freekick which was hit by Jean Travassos. After a rather tough play, CR.RICARRDO's Waldemar Marques got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half BETIMFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Sydney Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the CR.RICARRDO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Moreira couldn't finish the play. Sydney Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Loureiro having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Sebastião Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Loureiro. BETIMFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to CR.RICARRDO getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Váldson Gaúcho hit a great ball. BETIMFC's Waldir de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafinha Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Travassos in the 61st minute. When Jean Travassos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. In the 66th match minute, BETIMFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Travassos to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd match minute, BETIMFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind BETIMFC's goalkeeper Toninho Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waldir de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rafinha Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafinha Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir de Medeiros in the 92nd minute of play. BETIMFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CR.RICARRDO had won, even though BETIMFC had held more of the ball.
