Jamaica FCB's Dé Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica FCB from getting a goal against them. Vitório Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Luiz Gustavo Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Mazinho Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Trigo in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dé Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Abelardo Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mineiros Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Jamaica FCB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charles Arantes took the corner. Luiz Gustavo Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Trancoso having to interfere. Mineiros Esporte Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
