Dida Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Donatello in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Porao's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Passos came free, but Gilberto Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Alfredão Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, Porao's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Zanette came free, but Gilberto Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Vítor Zanette made a kick off. Angelo Furtado took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Ribeiro. Gilberto Ribeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 57 minutes into the game, Alfredão Passos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilberto Ribeiro. Alfredão Passos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Furtado got free with Gilberto Ribeiro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredão Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Porao's Gilberto Ribeiro got control of the ball when Alfredão Passos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, José Augusto Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
