When Moisés Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Exu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Velasco in the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Exu's Chiquinho Maia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinho Domingues. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Claudinho Domingues made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Carlos Augusto Maciel sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Allan Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Real Madrid's Claudinho Domingues got control of the ball when Carlos Augusto Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Chiquinho Maia took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Claudinho Domingues to make any attempt to save it. Claudinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Marcos Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. In the 81st minute Carlos Augusto Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Real Madrid's Gabi Gol seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gabi Gol the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Madrid protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gabi Gol had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Madrid fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Exu a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Moisés Carvalho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Madrid's Claudinho Domingues. 3-0. Claudinho Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Maia in the 88th minute of play. Claudinho Domingues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chiquinho Maia went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Real Madrid defense, Chiquinho Maia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Domingues. The Real Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Domingues should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Madrid players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Exu.
