The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Rodrigues got free with Claudinho Domingues in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Madrid's Claudinho Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Sabóia in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Raphael Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Domingues came out of the goal and Raphael Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Rodrigues got free with Claudinho Domingues in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Eriberto França got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Laerte Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Domingues having to interfere. If Norberto Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio da Silva during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Cafeína FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's Luiz Eduardo Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raí das Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Luiz Eduardo Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Luiz Eduardo Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Claudinho Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Rodrigues in the 35th minute. Claudinho Domingues was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Lúcio da Silva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Rodrigues in the 64th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Claudinho Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cafeína FC's Raphael Rodrigues in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Lúcio da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cafeína FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Lúcio da Silva had to leave the field with a concussion. Luiz Eduardo Fonseca was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Luiz Eduardo Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Allan Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raphael Rodrigues in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Domingues saved Real Madrid from getting behind. Claudinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Raphael Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Claudinho Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudinho Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Brodel in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Raphael Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Cafeína FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
