Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Sérgio Cruz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Anderson Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Tusk having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Trancoso in the 6th minute of play forced Itamaraca's goalkeeper Artur Tusk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itamaraca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Borralho. Faustão Tróia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Artur Tusk. 0-1. The supporters of Itamaraca booed when Borralho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mauro de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Itamaraca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro de Lima couldn't finish the play. In the 17thth minute of the game Anderson Meireles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itamaraca's Artur Tusk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sérgio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jaime Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Tróia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With his leg Jaime Fontes managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Itamaraca's Mauro de Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mauro de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jaime Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Borralho booed when Itamaraca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Itamaraca's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Trancoso came free, but Artur Tusk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaime Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Trancoso in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Tusk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Borralho fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Borralho's Jaime Trancoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jaime Fontes was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Sérgio Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sérgio Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Itamaraca's zone, Anderson Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Tusk came out of the goal and Anderson Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Meireles in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Tusk saved Itamaraca from getting behind. The Itamaraca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borralho were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Jaime Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Tusk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderson Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 minutes, Dé da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itamaraca and the Borralho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Itamaraca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Artur Tusk was a little too slow when Anderson Meireles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 69th minute, Clemente Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Trancoso in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Tusk saved Itamaraca from getting behind. Anderson Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Trancoso in the 90th minute of play forced Itamaraca's goalkeeper Artur Tusk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Borralho's Anderson Meireles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artur Tusk. Artur Tusk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4.
