ArabLionZ FC's Justin Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Quadros in the 4th minute of play. EC Caucaia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Madureira in the 5th minute. EC Caucaia were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after ArabLionZ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Madureira took the corner. The corner led EC Caucaia's Carlos Madureira to fire away a dangerous shot which Justin Thompson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vânderson Borges sped through ArabLionZ FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justin Thompson. After a defensive mix-up in EC Caucaia's zone, Waldir Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Abreu came out of the goal and Waldir Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as EC Caucaia's Ismael Aparecido slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justin Thompson. That made the score 3-0 after 16 minutes of play. Vânderson Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Madureira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 21st match minute, ArabLionZ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Justin Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vânderson Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Vânderson Borges recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justin Thompson. Vânderson Borges showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Vânderson Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Justin Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, ArabLionZ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Justin Thompson made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ismael Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. If Ismael Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, ArabLionZ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Madureira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Waldir Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Waldir Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, ArabLionZ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Borges came free, but Justin Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Waldir Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. ArabLionZ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the ArabLionZ FC defense, Vânderson Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justin Thompson. The ArabLionZ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justin Thompson should have stopped the shot. If Gugu Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by ArabLionZ FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Madureira was slow to take the kick. During this time EC Caucaia's players had a chance to rest. Jardel Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Vânderson Borges put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Justin Thompson. The EC Caucaia fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when EC Caucaia's Vânderson Borges looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Vânderson Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Justin Thompson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Borges went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Justin Thompson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vânderson Borges's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ismael Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Caucaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Thompson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vânderson Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Thompson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Torres in the 94th minute of play forced ArabLionZ FC's goalkeeper Justin Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Vânderson Borges put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Justin Thompson. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. EC Caucaia had played much better football throughout.
