In the 3rd match minute, Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Coutinho having to interfere. After some careless play in the Só Lamento defense, Luisão Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo Leão. The Só Lamento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Gustavo Leão should have stopped the shot. After 10 minutes, Giovanni Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Só Lamento and the Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Só Lamento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Santana to maneuver through the defense. When Jacinto Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Só Lamento's protests and gave Jacinto Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Só Lamento's Jacinto Teixeira got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Faria in the 19th minute of play forced Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs's goalkeeper Afonsinho Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Cardozo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Afonsinho Coutinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Faria in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonsinho Coutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonsinho Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Cardozo in the 22nd minute of play. Afonsinho Coutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Faria in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonsinho Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonsinho Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Mineiro in the 35th minute of the match. Afonsinho Coutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Teixeira in the 38th minute. Renatinho Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Coutinho having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Mineiro came free, but Afonsinho Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs's Afonsinho Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Faria in the 46th minute of play. If Luiz Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Faria to make the kick off. Só Lamento's Luís Gustavo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Cavalcante in the 55th minute of play. Afonsinho Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Jacinto Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Afonsinho Coutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Faria in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonsinho Coutinho saved Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs from getting behind. Ediberto Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Leão made a huge save. Cássio Palmeira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Só Lamento's Rodrigo Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs's Afonsinho Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Cardozo in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonsinho Coutinho was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Renatinho Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Afonsinho Coutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Só Lamento. Afonsinho Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Cardozo in the 85th minute of play. Só Lamento's Luiz Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Jacinto Teixeira put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Afonsinho Coutinho. Luís Gustavo Leão made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ediberto Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Só Lamento were the better team. Só Lamento's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
