Cristian Bittencourt started the match with the kick off. Natã Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme de Barros in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guaragi's Nestor Amaral got a free kick in the 5th minute. Geovanni Sampaio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wanderson Romero firmly grabbed it by the left post. 15 minutes into the game, Iraty Sport Club's Betão Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wanderson Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Iraty Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme de Barros came free, but Natã Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Betão Mello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wanderson Romero. Betão Mello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Geovanni Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Wanderson Romero made a huge save. Guaragi's Wanderson Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Mello in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Geovanni Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iraty Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanni Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Nestor Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Iraty Sport Club's Angelo Recife got a free kick in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Cristian Bittencourt notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Iraty Sport Club's Natã Vides. Natã Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Natã Vides was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Nestor Amaral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nestor Amaral really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. If Geovanni Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Mello might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wanderson Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betão Mello ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute Cristian Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Toninho Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaragi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iraty Sport Club the free kick. The supporters of Iraty Sport Club booed when Guaragi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Iraty Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Amaral came free, but Natã Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guaragi's Guilherme de Barros got a free kick in the 71st minute. Luiz Guilherme Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iraty Sport Club's Angelo Recife suffered a concussion in the 75th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme de Barros got free with Natã Vides in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Bittencourt in the 80th minute of play forced Iraty Sport Club's goalkeeper Natã Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Cristian Bittencourt rounded Iraty Sport Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. After a rather tough play, Guaragi's Luís Gustavo Cunha got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Guaragi's Guilherme de Barros pulled a muscle in his leg after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Iraty Sport Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Pimenta hit a great ball. The Guaragi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
