Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafa Pirani got the match started through his kick off. Ipanema SS's Tarcisio Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Barros in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Ipanema SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Secco to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Nildo Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Félix took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Amaral. Tarcisio Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hortêncio Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Alexsandro Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER MB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Roberto Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ipanema SS's Gualter Tinoco got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Brazilio Tasso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tarcisio Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Enzo Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Nildo Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER MB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nildo Félix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hortêncio Monteiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Alexsandro Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Valdir Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Nildo Félix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tarcisio Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Alexsandro Barros made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, INTER MB's Nildo Félix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 56th play minute Alexsandro Barros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tarcisio Amaral. 0-5. INTER MB's Valdir Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Varela in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Roberto Varela made a precise shot to the right of Valdir Rossi. INTER MB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ipanema SS's Tarcisio Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ipanema SS from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ipanema SS's Tarcisio Amaral got control of the ball when Alexsandro Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nildo Félix kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tarcisio Amaral. That made the score 1-6 in the 67 minute of play. Enzo Caetano took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Amaral. Tarcisio Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. INTER MB's Brazilio Tasso suffered a concussion in the 80th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Remo Secco fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipanema SS's protests and gave Remo Secco a yellow card for diving instead. INTER MB made a substitution. Elano da Silveira replaced Brazilio Tasso. In the 81st minute, Remo Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, INTER MB's Nildo Félix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Irwin Winkler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tarcisio Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Irwin Winkler slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Nildo Félix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarcisio Amaral was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Enzo Caetano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. INTER MB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
