Alfredinho Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doctor Sócrates. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. Doctor Sócrates made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Mineiro in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Marques in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doctor Sócrates prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matheus Salless short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Doctor Sócrates to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Impávido Galcölosso EC's Doctor Sócrates played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Marques in the 12th minute of play. Tiago Gabriel Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alfredinho Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Doctor Sócrates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Fanfarroes MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Arruda came free, but Tiago Gabriel Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fanfarroes MZC's zone, João Paulo Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Novaes came out of the goal and João Paulo Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Gabriel Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Alfredinho Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doctor Sócrates having to interfere. Doctor Sócrates didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matheus Salles went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Fausto Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tiago Gabriel Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Arruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Gabriel Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Arruda ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the match, Matheus Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doctor Sócrates. Impávido Galcölosso EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Doctor Sócrates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Erasmo Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erasmo Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Marques in the 63rd minute of play forced Impávido Galcölosso EC's goalkeeper Doctor Sócrates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doctor Sócrates stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Marques's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Alfredinho Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Doctor Sócrates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Matheus Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fanfarroes MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Impávido Galcölosso EC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Salles came free, but Doctor Sócrates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Vânderson Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes Impávido Galcölosso EC got a freekick which was hit by Benê Tróia. After a rather tough play, Fanfarroes MZC's Luís Fabiano Mineiro got a free kick in the 84th minute. Fausto Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Gabriel Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. João Paulo Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tiago Gabriel Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Damião's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Gabriel Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Arruda in the 97th minute of play forced Fanfarroes MZC's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanfarroes MZC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
