Matheus Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Amauri Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Fanfarroes MZC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faustão Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's Amauri Munhoz. 1-0. Matheus Salles succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 36th playminute. Walmyr Ramos's late challenge caught a AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Fanfarroes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Ramos. Vitinho Barral hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredinho Marques to make the kick off. Jan Dara kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Marques in the 58th minute of play forced AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's goalkeeper Amauri Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Munhoz having to interfere. Eliseu Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseu Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseu Carvalho hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Fanfarroes MZC's Faustão Garcia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 75 played minutes AtLéTiCo GaLvAn got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Carvalho. After 80 minutes, Matheus Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fanfarroes MZC and the AtLéTiCo GaLvAn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 minutes of play, AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's Wilian Marinho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Gabriel Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Wilian Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's protests and gave Wilian Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes AtLéTiCo GaLvAn got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Marinho. In the 92nd match minute, Fanfarroes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. Vitinho Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fanfarroes MZC fully deserved thier win.
