Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcelinho Lopes took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Furlan during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Ricardinho Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SF Aripuanã's Marco Ospin got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, SF Aripuanã's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Moro came free, but Pedro Luís Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Cerezo in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Andrés Moro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 31st minute of the match Fabiano Furlan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabiano Furlan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fabiano Furlan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Cerezo in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Zula Siekierski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gressa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Cerezo in the 41st minute of play forced SF Aripuanã's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gressa FC booed when SF Aripuanã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrés Moro made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Gressa FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Linhares. SF Aripuanã's Pedro Luís Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save SF Aripuanã from getting a goal against them. After 59 minutes of play SF Aripuanã's Ricardinho Recife was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th minute, Ricardinho Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrés Moro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Andrés Moro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Luís Godoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th minute, Marco Ospin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Gressa FC defense, Marcelinho Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeca Pitta. The Gressa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeca Pitta should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, SF Aripuanã's Efrain Criston seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Efrain Criston the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SF Aripuanã protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Efrain Criston had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 74 minutes into the match, SF Aripuanã's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Maia came free, but Pedro Luís Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Godoi made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Dênis Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. Rômulo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Pitta having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Cássio Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gressa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SF Aripuanã the free kick. Cássio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Godoi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dênis Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Luís Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Cerezo in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Zula Siekierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Gressa FC's Pedro Luís Godoi threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zula Siekierski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. SF Aripuanã were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gressa FC for a fine match.
