The supporters of Aimorés booed when HeBr United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zeca Viana came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Aimorés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeca Viana couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, HeBr United's Genílson Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percival Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aimorés's Percival Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Carneiro in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Paulinho MacLaren notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Aimorés's Percival Guimarães. Percival Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Percival Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genílson Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 崔崇广 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Percival Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Caetano Amaral fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilberto Dionísio, passed just outside the right post. If Emerson Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The HeBr United fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when HeBr United's Genílson Carneiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, Genílson Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeca Viana hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aimorés's Percival Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho MacLaren in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genílson Carneiro in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Guimarães saved Aimorés from getting behind. After 46 minutes, Genílson Carneiro made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Aimorés's Percival Guimarães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Aimorés players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HeBr United were winning 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caetano Amaral made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Paulinho MacLaren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HeBr United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho MacLaren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dênis Tande took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Dionísio. Gilberto Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Percival Guimarães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nildo Mangueira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Cristoffer Rodríguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percival Guimarães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristoffer Rodríguez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, HeBr United's Paulinho MacLaren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Percival Guimarães. Percival Guimarães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. 崔崇广 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Percival Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but 崔崇广 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-10 in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Paulinho MacLaren managed to get in a good position for a shot. HeBr United's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho MacLaren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percival Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dênis Tande hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Percival Guimarães stood somewhat misplaced when Genílson Carneiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-11 to the left of him in the 78 minute. In the 82nd minute, Genílson Carneiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Percival Guimarães. The goal made the score 1-12. 86 minutes into the game, Valdemar Lucas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-13. Percival Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aimorés's Percival Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Aimorés from getting a goal against them. 1-14 became the score in the 92nd minute when Genílson Carneiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Aimorés defense, Genílson Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Guimarães. The Aimorés fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Guimarães should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded HeBr United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aimorés.
