The supporters of Itaberai FC booed when Malagutti Soccêr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardinho Prado might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardinho Prado ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jeferson Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malagutti Soccêr's protests and gave Jeferson Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Malagutti Soccêr getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jeferson Vaz hit a great ball. Dadá Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dadá Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaberai FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Malagutti Soccêr's Luiz Fabiano Valladares got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Itaberai FC's Dadá Vasconcelos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiaguinho Sena came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Itaberai FC's Dadá Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Dadá Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tiaguinho Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Godoi in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Itaberai FC booed when Malagutti Soccêr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malagutti Soccêr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaberai FC the free kick. The supporters of Itaberai FC booed when Malagutti Soccêr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Malagutti Soccêr's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Arósio came free, but Tiaguinho Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiaguinho Sena came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Itaberai FC's Anísio de Barros. But to his dismay, Anísio de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tiaguinho Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dadá Vasconcelos made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Dadá Vasconcelos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tiaguinho Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edson Arósio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiaguinho Sena came out and tried to block the shot, but Edson Arósio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 58th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Dadá Vasconcelos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiaguinho Sena. Dadá Vasconcelos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 72 minutes into the game, Severino de Carvalho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Malagutti Soccêr's Chicão Chaves quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dalmo Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Prado in the 75th minute of play. When Amílton Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaberai FC's protests and gave Amílton Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Malagutti Soccêr booed when Itaberai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Malagutti Soccêr defense, Dadá Vasconcelos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Sena. The Malagutti Soccêr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho Sena should have stopped the shot. Dalmo Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Raí Esteves hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Dalmo Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Prado in the 96th minute of the match. Itaberai FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
