In the 13th minute, Jonathan Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Louveira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Camargo came free, but Renatinho Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vânderson Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Renatinho Catarinense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vânderson Amarals short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Renatinho Catarinense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Renatinho Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Camargo in the 20th minute of the match. Rômulo Nunes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Louveira EC's Dito Neves shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Rômulo Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Louveira EC's zone, Vânderson Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Catarinense came out of the goal and Vânderson Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Aquidauana's goalkeeper Rômulo Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dito Queirós. Aquidauana's Rômulo Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Aquidauana from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Renatinho Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vânderson Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vânderson Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Aquidauana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Dito Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Nunes having to interfere. Evandro Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Mário Dionísio, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Dito Neves came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Louveira EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Neves couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, one of Aquidauana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
