Luís Fábio Nunes's late challenge caught a PES United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fábio Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PES United booed when Itaberaba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batuğ Parskan struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rubens Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PES United. In the 15th minute, PES United's Batuğ Parskan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Batuğ Parskan took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubens Cruz. Rubens Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 26 minutes into the match, PES United's Abel Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubens Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PES United's André Luiz Diniz got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Luís-Carlos Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei do Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Barral having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Jailson Couto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 37 minutes into the match, PES United's Batuğ Parskan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubens Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 38 played minutes PES United got a freekick which was hit by Léo Marquez. PES United's Marco Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Couto in the 39th minute of play. If Fabiano Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Francisc Negruț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PES United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaberaba FC the free kick. Francisc Negruț hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jailson Couto made a kick off. Luís-Carlos Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PES United booed when Itaberaba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. PES United's Batuğ Parskan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Batuğ Parskan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rubens Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Batuğ Parskan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubens Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batuğ Parskan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Rubens Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batuğ Parskan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, José Maria Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Itaberaba FC booed when PES United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubens Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batuğ Parskan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PES United's Francisc Negruț got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 89 minutes into the match, Itaberaba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Batuğ Parskan came free, but Rubens Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Jailson Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaberaba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PES United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
