Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Loramendi Ugarte kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Sandrinho Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loramendi Ugarte got free with Kléberson Cavalcante in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute Curupai were awarded a corner. Carlos Baptista went to the cornerflag to take it. Merdin Bellamy hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Curupai's Carlos Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Loramendi Ugarte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kléberson Cavalcante. Loramendi Ugarte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kléberson Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loramendi Ugarte in the 14th minute. Narciso Sergipano's late challenge caught a Curupai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Sergipano helped the player get up and apologised. Narciso Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Loramendi Ugarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Kléberson Cavalcante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 31 played minutes A.E. ARAÇATUBA got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Ortiz. After a defensive mix-up in A.E. ARAÇATUBA's zone, Loramendi Ugarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Cavalcante came out of the goal and Loramendi Ugarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes A.E. ARAÇATUBA got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Velasco. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loramendi Ugarte in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléberson Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, A.E. ARAÇATUBA's Sandrinho Velasco got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 64 minutes of play, Curupai's Loramendi Ugarte made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! A.E. ARAÇATUBA's Kléberson Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loramendi Ugarte in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Loramendi Ugarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléberson Cavalcante. A.E. ARAÇATUBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loramendi Ugarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Loramendi Ugarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Curupai's Loramendi Ugarte in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.E. ARAÇATUBA's Kléberson Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Simão in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, A.E. ARAÇATUBA's Gugu Couto got a free kick in the 91st minute. Curupai walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
