The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cussauro Mz's Willian Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Vale in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Mumbach in the 7th minute of play forced Dominguinho SC's goalkeeper Eliazar Maixenchs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Roberto Carioca charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Roberto Carioca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Cussauro Mz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Carioca to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dominguinho SC's zone, Umberto Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliazar Maixenchs came out of the goal and Umberto Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Dominguinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Tróia came free, but Eliazar Maixenchs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvério Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Pombal having to interfere. Umberto Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Eliazar Maixenchs made a huge save. After 22 minutes, Waldemar Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dominguinho SC and the Cussauro Mz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waldemar Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Dinei Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliazar Maixenchs having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Nilmar Tróia took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eliazar Maixenchs to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilmar Tróia got free with Eliazar Maixenchs in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, Percy Mumbach recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliazar Maixenchs. Percy Mumbach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Dinei Sanches might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willian Pombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinei Sanches ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominguinho SC's Eliazar Maixenchs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Dominguinho SC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Vale made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Percy Mumbach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cussauro Mz and the Dominguinho SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cussauro Mz's Percy Mumbach got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sandro Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliazar Maixenchs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Percy Mumbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliazar Maixenchs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliazar Maixenchs was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cussauro Mz fully deserved thier win.
