The referee showed Andrézinho Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrézinho Paulista hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Edgar Sena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Rubinho Neto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute Matheus Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. LUSINHA's Norberto das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save LUSINHA from getting a goal against them. Norberto das Neves was a little too slow when Marcelo Luz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute.
