Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when José Maria de Amorim got the match started through his kick off. If Carlos Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Jorge Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Alberto Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Neymarinho's Leopoldo da Mata got control of the ball when Kaká Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaká Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Leopoldo da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Silva in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, one of Neymarinho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Maria de Amorim took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Alberto Eger. Carlos Alberto Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Silva in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Eger saved Dormideira SC from getting behind. When Acácio Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neymarinho's protests and gave Acácio Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Dormideira SC's João Pedro Queirós got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leopoldo da Mata. Almir Bastos struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Carlos Alberto Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neymarinho. Carlos Alberto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Silva in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dormideira SC's zone, Jorge Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Eger came out of the goal and Jorge Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute José Maria de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaká Pinho made a kick off. If Jorge Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Kaká Pinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dormideira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Hortêncio Teles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Alberto Eger having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dormideira SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! If Hortêncio Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dormideira SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Jorge Silva scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Alberto Eger, making the score, 3-5. José Maria de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Carlos Alberto Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Neymarinho's Hortêncio Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alberto Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. Cauan Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Alberto Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Dormideira SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jorge Silva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hortêncio Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Alberto Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If José Maria de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dormideira SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neymarinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
