After the first half S.E The Scientist were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee gave Juninho Custódio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Antônio de Carvalho hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Valério Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Simão, 2-4. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Valério Silva put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Simão.
