In the 14th minute, Bonifacio Maiorga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Maiorga to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Dragões de Tchó Tchó's Marcinho Bertassi got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 69th minute Bonifacio Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rômulo Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragões de Tchó Tchó's supporters rose to their feet, but Rômulo Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinei Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Maiorga in the 75th minute of play. Dragões de Tchó Tchó's Dinei Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Maiorga in the 77th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Campidelis charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Campinho F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
