The supporters of SCCP1910 booed when Chapadinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Prata made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Marquinhos Terra sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Téo Cardoso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chapadinha's Doriva Cavalcante didn't even have to move. In the 16th minute, SCCP1910's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marquinhos Terra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Doriva Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Salgado in the 19th minute of the match. Tony Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Prata having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, SCCP1910's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Vidal came free, but Zé Paulo Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chapadinha's Albertinho de Azevedo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Nuno Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Doriva Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, SCCP1910's Mathias Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doriva Cavalcante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SCCP1910's João Queiroz got a free kick in the 39th minute. Marquinhos Terra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Zé Paulo Prata skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Tony Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Bittencourt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Marquinhos Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mathias Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Chapadinha got a freekick which was hit by Remo Netto. Nuno Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Terra in the 65th minute of play forced SCCP1910's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, SCCP1910's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Vidal came free, but Zé Paulo Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
