The referee ignored Catipora's protests and gave Pedro Luís da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Faustão Cerezo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Túlio Capixaba. The goal made the score 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Fernandão Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Capixaba. Catipora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandão Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Fernandão Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Túlio Capixaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Iztal to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustão Cerezo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Capixaba. Túlio Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some careless play in the Catipora defense, Mendebal Sabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Capixaba. The Catipora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Capixaba should have stopped the shot. Flavio Iztal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Capixaba having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Mulekada United FC's Mendebal Sabino made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Capixaba was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mulekada United FC's Faustão Cerezo in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
