The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ITUIUTABA FC. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by ITUIUTABA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Urbano was slow to take the kick. During this time São Cristóvão F.C's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on São Cristóvão F.C's corner Samuel Urbano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Phil Collins quite easily take care of the ball. Natã Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edson Britto made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rodriguinho Severo however managed to control. ITUIUTABA FC's Phil Collins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Baptista in the 33rd minute of play. Dé Freitas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, ITUIUTABA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Baptista came free, but Phil Collins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to ITUIUTABA FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Arthur Salgado hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Felippe Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phil Collins. ITUIUTABA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felippe Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Phil Collins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felippe Baptista in the 80th minute.
