In the 30th minute of the match Zorgetz got a corner. Majestoso Leão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michel Eger ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Zorgetz's Michel Eger to fire away a dangerous shot which Luizinho Brodel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ademir Mangueira scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizinho Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Santos in the 36th minute of play. Majestoso Leão's Luizinho Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Majestoso Leão from getting a goal against them. Arí Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademir Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Brodel having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amílton Santos was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Ademir Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majestoso Leão's Luizinho Brodel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otávio Branco during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Majestoso Leão's Otávio Branco got a free kick in the 58th minute. Adrianinho Ferraz scored 2-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizinho Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes, Zorgetz's Michel Eger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luizinho Brodel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zorgetz reached it. Luizinho Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ademir Mangueira went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
