Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luciano Catarinense took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Luciano Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho Brodel. Majestoso Leão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 5 minutes into the match, Luciano Catarinense notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Majestoso Leão's Luizinho Brodel. Luizinho Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 9 minutes, Claudinei da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laluce Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Majestoso Leão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Secco to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Luciano Catarinense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luizinho Brodel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Laluce Esporte Clube booed when Majestoso Leão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luciano Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Laluce Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Catarinense couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Claudinei da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Luizinho Brodel. Majestoso Leão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Luizinho Brodel came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Laluce Esporte Clube's Luciano Catarinense. But to his dismay, Luciano Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Luís Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Luizinho Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Majestoso Leão's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Catarinense came free, but Luizinho Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Majestoso Leão defense, Luciano Catarinense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luizinho Brodel. The Majestoso Leão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luizinho Brodel should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Luís Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laluce Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Luciano Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizinho Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Laluce Esporte Clube were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílton Santos to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Majestoso Leão's zone, Luís Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho Brodel came out of the goal and Luís Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd match minute, Majestoso Leão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Valadares to maneuver through the defense. If Luís Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizinho Brodel made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Luciano Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. Luizinho Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Catarinense in the 68th minute. Claudinei da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Luciano Catarinense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luizinho Brodel. Luciano Catarinense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Luizinho Brodel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Jacinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 80 minute of play. If Claudinei da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Majestoso Leão getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Anísio Secco hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Anísio Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Majestoso Leão and the Laluce Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Laluce Esporte Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Majestoso Leão throughout the match.
