The referee ignored Palestra Itália FC's protests and gave Romeu Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredão Messias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Felippe Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joel Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Beto Zonta put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Godoi. Dedos Mágicos FC's Beto Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Conrado Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra Itália FC's protests and gave Conrado Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Palestra Itália FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Fábio do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Dedos Mágicos FC's Beto Zonta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Joel Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Zonta in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Júnior Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palestra Itália FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dedos Mágicos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Palestra Itália FC's Júnior Godoi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Joel Godoi made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Felippe Baptista sent off a good shot on target. If Felippe Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fábio do Valle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 69 minute of play. If Beto Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Porto might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
