Jurupoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Massa to maneuver through the defense. If Edmílson da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A. Jurupoca's Júlio Massa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Vinhas in the 24th minute of play forced A. Jurupoca's goalkeeper Sérgio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmílson da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo da Cunha having to interfere. Zézinho Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Barbosa having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Júlio Massa made the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edmílson da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Zézinho Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Barbosa. A. Jurupoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fabiano Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Vinhas in the 66th minute of the match. A. Jurupoca's Sérgio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Vinhas in the 70th minute of play. Zézinho Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Barbosa having to interfere. Zézinho Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. A. Jurupoca's Sérgio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Vinhas in the 78th minute of play. If Zézinho Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Vinhas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Vinhas in the 88th minute of play forced A. Jurupoca's goalkeeper Sérgio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Anderstrong F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
