After a rather tough play, Tigres SC's Enio Pitta got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Nico Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Célio Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigres SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Stand By's Silas da Rocha got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Stand By's Mané Marques in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tigres SC's goalie prevented a goal. After 20 played minutes Stand By got a freekick which was hit by César Braga. Mané Marques took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaltino Lira. Isaltino Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 33 minutes of play, Tigres SC's Ubaldo Matildo Cambuquira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 minutes, Oswaldo Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stand By and the Tigres SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Oswaldo Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Claudinho Braga fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tigres SC's protests and gave Claudinho Braga a yellow card for diving instead. Claudinho Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Célio Cardoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulo Mota. Stand By's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Célio Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.

The wind increased when Mané Marques made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tigres SC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tony Marquez hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Stand By's Mané Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Lira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Rodriguinho Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigres SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaltino Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaltino Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Marques's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 90th minute, Célio Cardoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tigres SC had played much better football throughout.
