An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Ramalho in the 6th minute of play forced Stand By's goalkeeper João Paulo Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Oswaldo Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stand By's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robinho Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. João Paulo Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Stand By got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Ferreira. After 26 minutes, Osvaldo Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazela AD and the Stand By players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Nico Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Stand By fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Ramos couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Osvaldo Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Armandinho Maciel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mané Marques showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Cristóvão Saraiva took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Paulo Mota. João Paulo Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 45th minute, Mané Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armandinho Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Ramalho was the one to do the kick off. Mané Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armandinho Maciel having to make a save. João Paulo Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mazela AD's zone, Mané Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armandinho Maciel came out of the goal and Mané Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Stand By's Natã Gonçalves got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gláuber Macedo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ramiro Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Mota having to interfere. Armandinho Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Marques's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Cristóvão Saraiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, João Paulo Mota skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 69 minutes into the match, Stand By's Nico Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armandinho Maciel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mazela AD's Robinho Novaes got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mazela AD's Ramiro Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Stand By's Mané Marques in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mazela AD's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Enio Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mazela AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stand By the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Mazela AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Rossi to maneuver through the defense. With his leg João Paulo Mota managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Mazela AD's Robinho Novaes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Sampaio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Paulo Mota. Osvaldo Sampaio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. If Mané Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mané Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Armandinho Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Stand By failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
