The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wascko of Gamar's Pedro Paulo Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Wascko of Gamar from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Salinas Náutico Clube's Pedro Paulo Tinoco threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliézer Rossi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gil Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Sá went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Paulo Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Michel de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. 1-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Eliézer Rossi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Pedro Paulo Tinoco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fernando Lira struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gil Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wascko of Gamar. Pedro Paulo Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel de Sousa in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Wascko of Gamar's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel de Sousa. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wascko of Gamar's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Tinoco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wascko of Gamar's Pedro Paulo Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Wascko of Gamar from getting a goal against them. Pedro Paulo Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Paranaense in the 37th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Tinoco came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Salinas Náutico Clube's Michel de Sousa. But to his dismay, Michel de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Paranaense in the 42nd minute of play forced Wascko of Gamar's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, one of Salinas Náutico Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Wascko of Gamar. Armandinho Botelho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gil Rocha. 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pedro Paulo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Paranaense in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Wascko of Gamar's goal looked a bit too open when Michel de Sousa came free, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Senna's late challenge caught a Wascko of Gamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Senna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, one of Salinas Náutico Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salinas Náutico Clube. Gil Rocha had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Armandinho Botelho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Michel de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Carlos de Salles's late challenge caught a Salinas Náutico Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Salinas Náutico Clube booed when Wascko of Gamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Paulo José Koehler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco skillfully saved the ball. In the 74th minute, Michel de Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Paulo Tinoco. Wascko of Gamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Pedro Paulo Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Paranaense in the 79th minute of the match. When Carlos Augusto Torres came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Salinas Náutico Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Torres couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wascko of Gamar's Guilherme Sá slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Rocha. That made the score 5-3 after 83 minutes of play. A collision led to Wascko of Gamar getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fernando Lira hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Wascko of Gamar's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Rossi came free, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fábio Paranaense took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Paulo Tinoco. Pedro Paulo Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. In the 93rd minute of the match Gerson Cabral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Rocha skillfully saved the ball. When Jano Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Wascko of Gamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jano Novaes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 97 minutes, Jano Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wascko of Gamar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute, Guilherme Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-4.
