With a little luck, 50 Tons de Idade's Betão Mazza got control of the ball when Sol Wiseman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, 50 Tons de Idade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Donatello to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme Carioca got free with Betão Mazza in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the 50 Tons de Idade defense, Sol Wiseman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Mazza. The 50 Tons de Idade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Mazza should have stopped the shot. The supporters of 50 Tons de Idade booed when Capão Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armandinho Loureiro took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almir Urbano. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Armandinho Loureiro made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Capão Bonito's Valério de Amorim seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Valério de Amorim the red card, dismissing him from the pitch.
