One of Corinthians:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baile de Monique F.C™:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fernando Cardoso in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Rosado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Luís Fernando Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wiliam Rosado was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. If Luís Fernando Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fiori Cruz to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Baile de Monique F.C™ defense, Luís Fernando Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiliam Rosado. The Baile de Monique F.C™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiliam Rosado should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Baile de Monique F.C™ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Garcia hit a great ball.
