The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Loureiro got free with Alexsandro Melo in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armandinho Loureiro in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexsandro Melo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Loureiro got free with Alexsandro Melo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as 50 Tons de Idade's Artur Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexsandro Melo. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Armandinho Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Armandinho Loureiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexsandro Melo firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Loureiro got free with Alexsandro Melo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Armandinho Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexsandro Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Willian Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilton Medeiros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betão Mazza. 50 Tons de Idade's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Diamantino Duarte got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Alexsandro Melo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Armandinho Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. Alexsandro Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armandinho Loureiro went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Flávio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Betão Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho Loureiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Alexsandro Melo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armandinho Loureiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 45th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armandinho Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Armandinho Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexsandro Melo. Adelino Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A wasted opportunity for 50 Tons de Idade. 72 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Loureiro came free, but Alexsandro Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
