The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Capão Bonito booed when Baile de Monique F.C™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Baile de Monique F.C™'s Diogo Sanches got a free kick in the 16th minute. Wiliam Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sol Wiseman in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Mathias Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sol Wiseman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wiliam Rosado was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Baile de Monique F.C™'s zone, Sol Wiseman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Rosado came out of the goal and Sol Wiseman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 27th minute of the match Diogo Sanches completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diogo Sanches a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Diogo Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Sol Wiseman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Alberto Garcia struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Almir Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baile de Monique F.C™. In the 38th minute, Guilherme Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiliam Rosado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wiliam Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Wiseman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Baile de Monique F.C™'s goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Carioca came free, but Wiliam Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Capão Bonito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Guilherme Carioca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wiliam Rosado. Baile de Monique F.C™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Carioca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Guilherme Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiliam Rosado having to make a save. A hard shot 62 in the game by Sol Wiseman from a close distance when the talented Wiliam Rosado managed to make a qualified save. Baile de Monique F.C™'s players were relieved. 63 minutes into the match, Baile de Monique F.C™'s goalkeeper Wiliam Rosado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Carioca. When Joel Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Baile de Monique F.C™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Velasco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Velasco in the 78th minute of play forced Capão Bonito's goalkeeper Almir Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Capão Bonito's Sol Wiseman got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fiori Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Capão Bonito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
