After a defensive mix-up in Araborladit's zone, Geovânio Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Mello came out of the goal and Geovânio Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th play minute Eliseu Branco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Didi Mello. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogério Godoi during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Anêmicos Futebol Clube booed when Araborladit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Anêmicos Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo Alagoano should have stopped the shot. In the 98th minute Douglas Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Anêmicos Futebol Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
