Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mataruca's Tião das Neves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gil Cosme made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Mataruca's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Ferraz came free, but Romário Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mataruca's zone, Richard Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Torres came out of the goal and Richard Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Mataruca's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Ferraz came free, but Romário Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's João Vítor Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Cosme made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Cristian do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Kauã de Brito's late challenge caught a Mataruca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauã de Brito helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Falcão Negro Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Kauã de Brito. 49 minutes into the game, Tião das Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil Cosme. Tião das Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Ferraz to make the kick off. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Richard Ferraz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mataruca's goalkeeper Romário Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Gil Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião das Neves in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Mataruca's goalkeeper Romário Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Vítor Ortiz. Cristian do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Cosme having to interfere. In the 80th minute Benjamim de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kauã de Brito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. 84 minutes into the game, Danilo Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mataruca the free kick. Danilo Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Tião das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tião das Neves went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Tião das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião das Neves in the 99th minute of play forced Falcão Negro Futebol Club's goalkeeper Gil Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
