João Paulo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Pernambucano having to interfere. Matej Homola's late challenge caught a Botinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matej Homola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Parnagua AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Homola to maneuver through the defense. Parnagua AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
