Miranga EC's Alfredinho Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Miranga EC from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miranga EC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Souto in the 90th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Flávio Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, João Paulo Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho Ribeiro. Miranga EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. If Bar Beiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Botinho FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Miranga EC.
