Jonathan Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Valladares having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Kjell Vassenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christiano Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trombetas's Christiano Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Araújo in the 15th minute of play. Christiano Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelis Van Baerlem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Giuseppe de Mendonça scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christiano Valladares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When RIO CLUBE REGATAS's Leif Ferm, in the 75th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for RIO CLUBE REGATAS. 78 minutes into the match, Giuseppe de Mendonça dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christiano Valladares, 0-9. 81 minutes into the game, Giuseppe de Mendonça recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christiano Valladares. Giuseppe de Mendonça showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. 85 minutes into the match, Trombetas's goalkeeper Christiano Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Vassenius. The RIO CLUBE REGATAS fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when RIO CLUBE REGATAS's Kjell Vassenius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. RIO CLUBE REGATAS played a much better game than Trombetas and deserved their victory. The Trombetas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
