Geovanni Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Arvinte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Barreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebiu Arvinte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
