Fenix Futebol Clube's Reynaldo Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton de Sena in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Diogo Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reynaldo Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Urameshi FC's Abelardo Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Cardozo. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play.
