Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdulkerim Akgündüz took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of A.C. Doutrina Milanista booed when Vitoria da conquista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Ignacio Oropesa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Lara in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jabar Jabri in the 10th minute of play forced Vitoria da conquista's goalkeeper Chicão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tiago Gabriel Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Kléberson Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Schmidt hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Célio Fonseca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Ignacio Oropesa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the game, A.C. Doutrina Milanista's Jabar Jabri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Márcio Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes A.C. Doutrina Milanista got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Schmidt. After some careless play in the Vitoria da conquista defense, Jabar Jabri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chicão Braga. The Vitoria da conquista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chicão Braga should have stopped the shot. Jabar Jabri took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Braga. Chicão Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 44th minute Aníbal Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Oropesa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vitoria da conquista's Aníbal Lara in 44 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Juan Ignacio Oropesa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, A.C. Doutrina Milanista's Márcio Schmidt got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Juan Ignacio Oropesa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Stinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Fonseca in the 59th minute of play forced A.C. Doutrina Milanista's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Oropesa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giovanni Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Ignacio Oropesa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célio Fonseca went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Juan Ignacio Oropesa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Lara in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Barney Stinson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Ignacio Oropesa. A.C. Doutrina Milanista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barney Stinson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. A collision led to Vitoria da conquista getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aníbal Lara hit a great ball. Chicão Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulkerim Akgündüz in the 74th minute of play. After 78 played minutes A.C. Doutrina Milanista got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Schmidt. Juan Ignacio Oropesa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vitoria da conquista's Pedro Luiz Mangueira. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. A collision led to A.C. Doutrina Milanista getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fernando da Costa hit a great ball. When Pedro Luiz Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vitoria da conquista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz Mangueira couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Vitoria da conquista's goalkeeper Chicão Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdulkerim Akgündüz. After 95 played minutes Vitoria da conquista got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Mangueira. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
