Túlio Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Oscar Leite made a huge save. Vinícius Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Tande having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Túlio Arantes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Oscar Leite to make any attempt to save it. 30 minutes into the match, Raí Furtado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Leite, 3-0. Noel Custódio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Lobos do Cerrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Liverpool FC's Túlio Arantes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Leite. Oscar Leite yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Kléber de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Paraense in the 44th minute of the match. Adhemar Paraense took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Tande. Eusébio Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Paraense in the 47th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Paraense to make the kick off. Eusébio Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Adhemar Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Tande. If Adhemar Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Dé Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléber de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Tande having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. With his leg Eusébio Tande managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Lobos do Cerrado's Adhemar Paraense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Kléber de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Hélder Custódio hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Vinícius Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
