The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zula Marciewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zula Marciewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Jansson having to interfere. Zula Marciewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Zula Marciewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laze Gjoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Dráusio de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laze Gjoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laze Gjoka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Wei Shi in the 16th minute of play. Laze Gjoka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ctirad Špalek in the 20th minute of play forced Templários MZC's goalkeeper Laze Gjoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Templários MZC's Felipe Meira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Téo Loyola in the 24 minute of the game. Templários MZC's Felipe Meira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fu Wei Shi, made in the 27th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Academia Santista CIMZ defense, Zula Marciewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Axel Jansson. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Axel Jansson should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Pirani in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laze Gjoka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Zula Marciewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Axel Jansson. The goal made the score 2-0. Laze Gjoka came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Santista CIMZ's Wilian Pirani. But to his dismay, Wilian Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Guedes was the one to do the kick off. Téo Loyola got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fu Wei Shi. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Roger Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templários MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Axel Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Axel Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zula Marciewicz in the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Mané Garrinchinha took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Laze Gjoka to make any attempt to save it. Karl-Axel Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Marciewicz in the 69th minute of play. Mané Garrinchinha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Laze Gjoka made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Guedes in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Axel Jansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Templários MZC's goalkeeper Laze Gjoka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laze Gjoka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Garrinchinha, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Zula Marciewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Axel Jansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Roger Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Jansson having to interfere. Academia Santista CIMZ's Karl-Axel Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Furlan in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Noel Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Templários MZC had won after a very even match.
