With a little luck, Marília AC's Jacinto Loureiro got control of the ball when Willian de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Só de Fula F.C.'s Alberto Albuquerque got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Akın Seccac struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Carlos Augusto Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marília AC. 52 minutes into the match, Só de Fula F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Lucas came free, but Carlos Augusto Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Carlos Augusto Vander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Akın Seccac took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Vander. Carlos Augusto Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Marília AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
