José Maria Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aylal Souza in the 3rd minute of the match. José Maria Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandrinho Vinhas went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Sandrinho Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 16 minutes, Aylal Souza made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ulbrazão Football Club's José Maria Soares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aylal Souza succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Aylal Souza sped through Ulbrazão Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Maria Soares. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Aylal Souza put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of José Maria Soares. Paulão Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ulbrazão Football Club booed when EGPS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aylal Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, EGPS's Cléber Dias got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cléber Dias took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Soares. José Maria Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. José Maria Soares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when EGPS's Cléber Dias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Ulbrazão Football Club getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vânderson Campidelis hit a great ball. After the first half EGPS were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Ceresso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ulbrazão Football Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sandrinho Vinhas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Ulbrazão Football Club's José Maria Soares got control of the ball when Cléber Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Ulbrazão Football Club defense, Cléber Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Soares. The Ulbrazão Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Soares should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Ceresso in the 66th minute of play forced EGPS's goalkeeper Anastasio Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Ulbrazão Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aylal Souza in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Sandrinho Vinhas rounded Ulbrazão Football Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-12. Cléber Dias did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-13 to the left of a surprised José Maria Soares 74 minutes into the match. If Sandrinho Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Ulbrazão Football Club's goalkeeper José Maria Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cléber Dias. In the 84th minute EGPS were awarded a corner. Cléber Dias went to the cornerflag to take it. José Maria Soares was a little too slow when Cléber Dias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-15. José Maria Soares came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by EGPS's Cléber Dias. But to his dismay, Cléber Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Cléber Dias took a quick shot and it went in 0-17 without a chance for José Maria Soares to make any attempt to save it. EGPS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
