Martelet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgílio Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafim Zanette went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Clube Athletico Valão fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Martelet were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
